Tien-Yu Sieh is a Director and Co-Head of Asia Alternative Energy in Merrill Lynch's investment banking department. 

Tien-Yu has been with Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong for seven years. In addition to his current position, Tien-Yu has performed a variety of roles at Merrill Lynch, including Co-Head of Regional Technology Research and Technology Strategist in the Asian equity research department – where he also initiated Merrill Lynch's research coverage of the Solar energy industry.

Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Tien-Yu was the lead portfolio manager for the Pacific Basin funds at an investment management firm based in New York.
